Serving
Opportunities to serve are
plentiful at St. John. Some of the ways and places in which you
may participate are:
The Christian Community Cupboard is an ecumenical food pantry which St. John supports with
weekly food donations, and by providing staff for the Pantry during the month
of August.
Together
On Wednesday Nights (TOWN) is our weekly fellowship meal,
and there are opportunities to cook, set-up, clean up, and/or take meals to
home-bound individuals.
Kairos Prison Ministry is ministry to those who are incarcerated.
The College Ministry Team maintains contact with our college students by
sending “Care Packages” throughout the year.
You may also serve through
some of our other ministries…
Tape Ministry by delivering tapes of the Sunday service to homebound members
Card Ministry by sending cards to people in the church and community
Bread Ministry which delivers bread to first-time guests
Prayer Chain by praying for those with special needs.
